Semillon, a classic in recovery
Semillon returns to Mendoza from an old vineyard, regaining identity and freshness.
Two expressions from the same origin: one fresh, without wood; the other aged, grown in a cellar.
A classic white, cared for by a family that believes in time , patience and a job well done .
A white man from Mendoza who came back to stay.
Discover the Semillon
I always thought I was a red wine woman.
That this was a land of red wines.
Until I discovered Semillon .And the Semillon changed my perspective of the world.
Since then, I’ve been in love with Semillon .Two Semillons, one same origin
In our family we have two Semillons: one
fresh , which has a drawing of the vineyard on its label —because it is born there, among old rows and vines that resist—, and another
for aging , whose label shows the facade of the winery —because that is where it is aged , in our barrels, in silence and at a constant temperature. Two different wines, the same place.
A vineyard that endures
Both come from the same old vineyard , very close to the city, resisting the encroachment of gated communities.
For years, Semillon was a varietal forgotten by producers, winemakers, and consumers.
But we chose to recover it, nurture it, and give it a new life .Choosing Semillon was a form of resistance.
Freshness and aging
Fresh Semillon is harvested early, fermented with native yeasts and preserved without oak aging, to maintain its lively, mineral and floral profile.
The Semillon de guarda, on the other hand, is aged in barrels within our winery, developing deeper, honeyed notes, with texture and complexity.
Parenting doesn’t rush: it accompanies.
A target with time
Each one expresses a different moment from the same place.
And together, they tell a story of rebirth .Golden in color with aromas of peach and apricot, our Semillon is fresh, full-bodied, and persistent.
It pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, fish, soft pasta dishes, or risottos, and has enough character to stand up to even the most intense flavors.Because sometimes, the classics come back.
And when they return, they return to stay.
